The unemployment level in Chechnya was at 20% and should drop to 5% in five years, said Chechen leader Ramzan Kadyrov.
Unemployment in Grozny was at 13%, in Groznensky District at 16%, Shatoysky District at 17%, said Magomed Daudov, Head of the Presidential and Governmental Administration. The worst indicators were in the districts of Nadterechny (37%), Naursky (35%) and Gudermessky (31%).Kadyrov said that one of the main instruments to reduce unemployment was to invite investment.
