Russian soldiers in Abkhazia to get apartments

Col. Igor Gorbul, spokesman of the Southern Military District, said that construction of housing for the 7th Russian military base in Gudaut (Abkhazia) was coming to an end, ITAR-TASS reports.19 two-storey houses with a total of 300 apartments will be built by late June 2014. They can withstand an earthquake with a magnitude of 9 points. All apartments will have furniture, household utilities, satellite television, telephones, Internet. The housing complex will have playgrounds and sports grounds for children.Gorbul added that construction of a center for physical education and health will be built by summer 2015.
