Iran to strengthen cooperation with Gulf states
Read on the website Vestnik KavkazaIranian Deputy Foreign Minister Hossein Amir Abdollahian said that Tehran was hoping to strengthen cooperation with the Gulf, Trend reports.
He noted that the Middle East was in a critical situation and formation of new alliances needed regular negotiations. The diplomat added that Iran and Qatar were developing cooperation in many sectors, as stated in Doha at a meeting with Assistant Foreign Minister of Qatar Mohamed Al-Rumaihi.
Abdollahian reminded that Doha had always backed Iran’s right for peaceful nuclear energy. Al-Rumaihi said that both states should expand ties in all fields of economy. He will soon visit Tehran.
