Ukraine and EU to adopt visa-free regime in a year

 

Ukrainian Foreign Minister Pavel Klimkin said that a visa-free regime will be adopted with the EU in a year. The Council of the European Union started the second phase of implementation of the regime on Monday, ITAR-TASS reports.Ukraine needs to start issuing biometric passports. The process will be taken to a higher scale in the near future.Ukrainian Ambassador to the EU Yan Tombinsky promised accomplishment of the process in a year.
