Head of Kenesary Khan Foundation to run for president of Kazakhstan

Ualikhan Kaysarov, the president of the Kenesary-Khan Foundation, will run for president of Kazakhstan on April 26. He has filed the bid for presidency today, RIA Novosti reports.Kaysarov tried running for president in 2005 and 2011. In the first case, he had problems filing signature lists. In 2011, he did not file the state exam in the Kazakhstani language.11 people are currently running for president. One of them is a member of the Communist People’s Party, the rest are independent candidates. The Central Electoral Commission has refused to receive bids of four candidates because they do not meet the demands of the Constitution and the constitutional law on elections.
