Abramyan: electricity tariff will not be reduced, but the poor will be compensated

The Armenian government is going to cancel the decision to raise tariffs on electricity, but will provide compensation for low-income families. This was stated by Prime Minister Hovik Abramyan.

"Our calculations show that, as a result of the tariff increases, the cost of electricity for each family will partially increase by some 1400 drams (154 rubles), as a family’s average monthly consumption is 200 kilowatt hours of electricity," Interfax quotes him as saying.
