The Armenian government is going to cancel the decision to raise tariffs on electricity, but will provide compensation for low-income families. This was stated by Prime Minister Hovik Abramyan.
"Our calculations show that, as a result of the tariff increases, the cost of electricity for each family will partially increase by some 1400 drams (154 rubles), as a family’s average monthly consumption is 200 kilowatt hours of electricity," Interfax quotes him as saying.
