Mayor of Feodosia suspected of taking large bribes
Read on the website Vestnik KavkazaThe head of administration of Crimean Theodosia, Dmitry Schepetkov, and his deputy Makar Makarov have became persons involved in a criminal case against them by the Investigative Committee of Russia, suspecting them of taking bribes on a large scale.
According to investigators, an individual entrepreneur turned to the head of the administration of Feodosia on November 6th with an application on the extension of rent of two-hectares of land. "Schepetkov and Makarov demanded a bribe from a businessman amounting to $300,000 to solve the issue,'' Interfax cites the Investigative Committee of Russia.
