Russia wins Georgian tangerine market
Read on the website Vestnik KavkazaToday the Ministry of Agriculture of Georgia published export statistics of tangerines, according to which 26.1 thousand tons of the fruit were sold abroad last year. 78.2% of them were supplied to Russia.
Ukraine is in the second place with 14.8% from the share of Georgian export of tangerines, then Armenia (3%), Azerbaijan (about 1%), Kazakhstan (1.7%) and Israel (0.93%).
According to Sputnik-Georgia, this year the service plans to deliver about 35,000 tons of tangerines abroad. In Russia. They will be exported via the Upper Lars checkpoint and the port of Batumi.
