"Sergei Filin will remain at the Bolshoi Theatre and will head the choreographers workshop," the Bolshoi general director Vladimir Urin said.
In addition, he spoke about the current activities of the group. "We will show the premiere titled 'Modern Choreography Night' on the historical stage of the theater. Then Vyacheslav Samodurov will choreograph the ballet 'Ondine', we are preparing for our tour to England," Urin noted. "In the month of May we will hold the traditional press conference for the next season and will share our plans," the director general of the Bolshoi Theater is quoted by TASS.
Recall, the new ballet director at the Bolshoi Theatre graduated from the Academy of Russian Ballet, he was also the head of Italy's La Scala in Russia.
