Former Kazakh FM appointed ambassador to UK
Read on the website Vestnik KavkazaKazakh President Nursultan Nazarbayev appointed the former Foreign Minister Erlan Idrissov to the post of ambassador to the Great Britain, the presidential press-service said.
Idrissov has been serving as a foreign minister since 2012. On Dec. 28 he was relieved of his post and Kairat Abdrakhmanov became a new foreign minister.
Abdrakhmanov previously served as permanent representative of Kazakhstan to the UN, Trend recalls.
