Taxes will be imposed on agriculture

Some international organizations are interested in the adoption of the new Tax Code in Armenia. Does it mean that they tend to return refunds granted to them? ‘Hayots Ashkhar’ reports.

"Undoubtedly, it is difficult to give a definite answer. In any case, the fact is that there is an obvious interest to increase tax collection. However, no matter how it is being implemented with the help of attempts in order to achieve this not only by means of creation of additional incentives for the economy or reduction of the shadow part of the country’s economy, but through the increase of the tax burden.

The rise in prices will affect not only the price of gasoline, and diesel fuel market. If today this market is not imposed by VAT. After the acceptance of the Code it will be a part in this sector. Fuel prices will increase at least by 20-30 drams only in case of the annual increase in the excise tax by 15% for one liter. Changes will be even in the market of other products, which are also imposed by VAT, which is expected to increase tax rates.

Enhancement of the tax burden is an extension of VAT. In particular, taking into account the fact that the individual sphere were exempt from taxation. In particular, agriculture. It is easy to imagine a large number of products that may affect the taxation of agriculture,’’ the newspaper reports.

Reliable sources informed that a number of people were questioned due to this case:  the sides demanded a number of documents and now they are being studied carefully. It is possible that interesting information will be revealed soon.

A robbery that started at CJSC SCR is continuing now. Taking into account the rapid response to our previous publication, the members of the law enforcement bodies had no choice and decided to ask the media for help. A member of "South Caucasus Railways’’ wanted to remain anonymous due to obvious reasons. He told only about a few episodes formed in clans in the Company and robbery.

Thus, the employee raises a question how Deputy Director of the South Caucasus Railways on financial issues, Ilya Kelperisin, could bought an apartment in a house on the Arami street in 2010, but he still lives in a apartment and CJSC "SCR" still pays 600,000 drams rent monthly,’’ the newspaper reports.
