According to the agreement signed on the night of November 10 by Vladimir Putin, Ilham Aliyev and Nikol Pashinyan, Armenia returns the occupied regions to Azerbaijan (only the 5 km wide Lachin corridor remains under its control, which will ensure the connection between Nagorno-Karabakh and Armenia); Russian peacekeepers are being brought into the region, a joint monitoring center is being created with the participation of Russia and Turkey, which will allow controlling the situation in order to avoid possible provocations, further aggravation of the situation and terrorist attacks.
Indeed, revanchist sentiments are strong in Armenia, and some representatives of the Armenian community leaving liberated Karabakh set fire to houses with belongings they cannot take with them. What makes people destroy property? It is obvious that the indigenous Karabakh people, who are fluent in the Azerbaijani language and know about the security guarantees that Baku provides them, would hardly have dared to commit arson. They do this under the pressure of nationalist, fanatical members of Armenian gangs. It was the bearers of this ideology that in 1987-1988 incited ethnic strife in Armenia and in Nagorno-Karabakh.
Then more than 200 thousand Azerbaijanis left these lands. Later they will tell how the "bearded men" came to them, forcing them to leave their homes and threatening that otherwise force would be used against their families. Moreover, these people were often accompanied by representatives of the authorities of the Armenian SSR.
However, people were not allowed to quietly leave their homes. On the road to Azerbaijan, representatives of Armenian gangs were setting up 40-ton fuel trucks at the gate. (Naturally, both transport and gasoline belonged to the state). The invaders were waiting for a column of cars carrying the forcibly displaced Azerbaijanis to drive up; they stopped her 500 meters from the barrier; poured 40 tons of gasoline onto the road and set it on fire. It was impossible to drive along the burning road, people ran out of cars and walked on empty-handed, having lost what little they tried to take with them.

Probably, it was this man who made the father of a large family believe that Baku would not keep its promise of security guarantees for those representatives of the Armenian community of Karabakh who would remain to live in the liberated territories.
