Russia and Uzbekistan are getting closer

Before meeting with his Russian colleague, Uzbek Prime Minister visited the Moscow region, and he didn't hide how surprised he was during conversation with Medvedev: "Today we saw what was done in the Moscow region with the use of modern information technologies, system that controls all processes in such a large region as the Moscow region is very impressive." He noted that he was specialist in this field. “We know, that's why we invited you here,” Medvedev responded with a smile.

Aripov also thanked the Federal Tax Service of the Russian Federation for their assistance in tax administration and implementation of the marking system. “Uzbek side sees that Russian Prime Minister, who is also co-head of the joint commission, pays a lot of attention to this direction. Honestly, representatives of various Uzbek government bodies, who work with colleagues from Russia, never felt such understanding or such support. We are very grateful to you,” Aripov said. He stressed that during recent meeting of the Russian-Uzbek joint commission at the level of heads of governments, all areas of cooperation were discussed. "And our cooperation today has entered a new stage, received new impetus thanks to open and confidential relations between our heads of state," Prime Minister of Uzbekistan said.
