50th anniversary of Moscow school

The school with advanced study of foreign language No1293, which is part of the educational complex being implemented within the framework of the program of pre-school, general and secondary education, celebrated its 50th anniversary in the Western District of Moscow in the region of Kuntsevo. The school focuses on multilevel, differentiated and diversified training. From the second year, students have classes with intensive study of English, and starting from the 5th grade children have the opportunity to continue their education in secondary school. A gala concert was held in honor of the anniversary of the school.

The headteacher of the school, Elena Furaeva, told Vestnik Kavkaza about the history and success of the school: “Our school is celebrating its anniversary. Today, in human terms, perhaps it is a lot, but by the standards of the educational institution, perhaps it is only the start. In 1965, when the school opened in the district of Kuntsevo, there were few students. The first graduation day was in 1968. Today the school is a large educational complex, which consists of three schools and four kindergartens. The total number of pupils in the school is about 3 thousand. The school has been on the list of the best schools in Moscow for several years. Our students are from different regions of our great motherland. From different regions of Russia, from different regions of the former Soviet republics, we even have children who study from abroad. The children learn together in peace and harmony, together they are involved in various activities. I think the school has a great future, because a large number of students, a large number of potentially strong teachers, give impetus to the development of the school. I think the school will show itself.”
