Azerbaijani youth gathered in Crocus City Hall

Moscow's Crocus City Hall hosted the 7th Forum of Azerbaijani Youth Organization of Russia "AYOR Generation: patriotism, creativity, success." Forum was organized with the support of Ministry of Youth and Sport of Azerbaijan and was attended by more than 500 delegates, honorable guests and officials from Azerbaijan and Russia. Among them - activists of 62 regional departments of AYOR, representatives of Azerbaijani diaspora and youth organizations in Russia.

Vice-president of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation and chairman of AYOR Leyla Aliyeva addressed the participants of the forum: "We have done a lot of work for 8 years. The main thing for us is preservation of ancient traditions, rich culture and history of Azerbaijan, mutual support, respect for all peoples and religions, integration into the Russian society in order to adequately represent Azerbaijan in Russia," she said. Azerbaijani Ambassador to Russia Polad Bulbuloglu said: "No matter where we live, no matter what we do, we are still representatives of our country, our people, our nation, and every one of us bears a great responsibility."

The head of Moscow's National Policy Department, Vitaly Suchkov, stressed that the government of Moscow government adopted city's national policy strategy until 2025, which says that capital is a home to more than 160 nationalities, but all of us are Muscovites. "Only power is in unity. Let's respect each other, let's help each other, let's love each other. Only this way we will resolve all the problems that we are facing," Suchkov noted.

Every year during the forum, a ceremony of awarding students and AYOR activists with diplomas and certificates is held. This year Leyla Aliyeva gave the award to student of the Plekhanov Russian University of Economics Aytan Mammedova. "AYOR develops patriotic feelings in every student, and not only in students, schoolchildren also come here. AYOR is actively working towards uniting representatives of Azerbaijani youth, who live far away from their homeland," she said.
