New details of the consequences of a mine blast on November 23 in the village of Sugovushan of the Terter region of the joint group for the exchange of bodies of dead servicemen, consisting of representatives of Russian peacekeepers, the Azerbaijani Armed Forces, the "branch" of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Armenia in the occupied territories and the International Committee of the Red Cross, were revealed. As Vestnik Kavkaza has already reported, as a result of the explosion, a colonel of the Azerbaijani army Babek Samidli was killed and a Russian peacekeeper was wounded, who was taken to a Baku hospital.
Little was known about the Armenian military. And now his wife told about the fate of one of the wounded:
“I can’t be silent any longer! My husband, lieutenant colonel of the Defense Army, who was wounded as a result of a mine explosion while retrieving the bodies of his soldiers in Madagis (the Armenian name of the Azerbaijani village of Sugovushan, - editor's note) was sent for treatment to Naftalan. he was assisted by an Azerbaijani serviceman. He said he was responsible for the life of the wounded. The relevant [Armenian] bodies were there, but they did not help. Are we really left helpless? "
Let us recall that this is not the first time that the Azerbaijani military has shown nobility towards the wounded Armenian soldiers and officers. Since September 27, the start of the second Karabakh war, there have been many captured Armenian soldiers in Azerbaijani hospitals. The media leaked footage of Ismayil Akhundov, secretary of the State Commission for Prisoners and Missing Citizens, in a hospital asking wounded Armenian soldiers about how well they are treated, how they are being treated, how they are being looked after.
