Breitbart: "Without the help of the United States, Israel is losing its credibility in the region"

The US edition of American Free Press wrote about the possibility of a war between Russia and the United States. Military escalation along the borders of Russia and in the airspace over Europe is becoming ever more serious. In the last few weeks the Pentagon deployed a number of military units and weapons to countries on the western and southern borders of Russia. In response, Vladimir Putin ordered military maneuvers to be held in these areas to be able to observe the actions of the US and NATO on Russia's borders.

Any clash on the borders of Russia and in countries such as Estonia, Lithuania and Latvia could lead to the beginning of a military conflict, analysts say. The Pentagon's decision to place additional US troops, heavy artillery and tanks in these Baltic littoral states triggered condemnation from Moscow, which, in turn, has deployed more resources to its borders with these countries.

In addition to strengthening borders in Eastern Europe, the US and NATO are paying special attention to anti-Russian propaganda, trying to win support of as many of the Nordic countries as they can. The defense ministers of Sweden, Norway, Finland, Denmark and Iceland stated that Europe must be prepared for a ‘threat from the Russian side’. Such behavior of both NATO and the countries of Europe, which for no apparent reason call Russia an aggressor, is dangerous, because both Moscow and the North Atlantic Alliance have powerful military potentials.

Today a threat does not exist as such, but neither Russia nor the United States are going to make concessions. But if in the case of Russia it comes to defending its territorial interests, from the US side it is another provocation in order to gain influence in the Baltic region, as well as in Northern Europe. Russia is perhaps the only country in the world which is a direct rival to the United States in the economic and strategic sectors. That is why the US authorities are interested in weakening the influence of the Kremlin at any cost.

The US analytical publication Breitbart wrote that an agreement on the Iranian nuclear program would destroy the relationship between the United States and Israel. Today President Barack Obama won the support of the required number of Democrats, so the deal on Iran’s nuclear program will be adopted. The vote is to take place on September 17, but it is clear that the global policy will change its appearance. Firstly, Iran will finally have an opportunity to develop economic relations with many countries in both Europe and Asia, which in turn will give the state benefits even over the United States. And secondly, the relationship between Israel and America will not be the same. After enough supporters of the Iranian nuclear program were attained, we can safely say that the Israeli lobby represented among the American political elite has lost significance.

Apart from the fact that Israel has lost US support, it is now left alone with Iran, which represents both an economic and a strategic threat to Israel. It is unlikely that either country will be able to eliminate their long-term confrontation, but without the help of the United States, Israel is losing its credibility in the region, and Iran, in turn, is coming back to the world political arena.
