Russian publication life.ru recently posted information that monuments, crosses and fences of the cemetery near Baku, where Soviet soldiers are buried, were allegedly stolen for scrap metal. The material could cause a lot of anger in Russia, which closely monitors situation around the monuments and burials of people who died during the Great Patriotic War. However, it was soon found out by local journalists that this information was, to put it mildly, unreliable.
Correspondent of Vesti.Az visited a cemetery in Zabrat settlement, and saw that all graves are in a great state.
You can see photos and video from the cemetery below. It's unclear what was the aim of this provocation with the use of false information.
