The talks between foreign ministers will be held tomorrow, they will discuss military-political and humanitarian situation in Syria, the efforts of the Russian and Syrian military, continuing the fight against terrorists of Daesh and Jabhat al-Nusra. In this connection, the Foreign Ministry reminded that in its approach to Syrian affairs, Russia is committed to the principles of sovereignty, unity and territorial integrity of Syria, its secular nature, and based on the fact that acute crisis in this country cannpt be resolved through political means, Russia insists on a speedy resumption of inter-Syrian negotiation process in order to restore peace and security in Syria.
Experts believe that victory over terrorism in Syria will contribute to the establishment of a multipolar world.
Member of the Foreign Affairs Committee of the Federation Council, Igor Morozov, believes that Russia has entered the geopolitical orbit of with a new paradigm of a multipolar world, "which Europe has forgotten or lost for some time, after believing in American exceptionalism."
"The world is divided today. Americans have one position, it is based on the global superiority, based on American exceptionalism. But today we can see the rise of new, powerful, competitive state that seek to participate in the world's problems settlement," he believes.
According to him, a multipolar world is becoming a universal value: "G20 makes specific decisions on the fact that if the structure of the IMF will not change, then other institutions will be created. We see the values of uniting world in this... The fight against international terrorism becomes a symbol of unification. The fight of Russian military in Syria against international terrorism is basically a fight against evil in the interest of the entire international community."
