Daesh poses a serious threat to the entire world, and the international community must unite to fight this scourge, Jordan's King Abdullah II stated yesterday at the opening of the Munich Security Conference. He said that the Iraqi government needs assistance to fight Daesh.
French Prime Minister Manuel Valls believes that to fight Daesh it is necessary to create local ground troops. However, according to him, France has no plans to send its troops to Syria.
Meanwhile, according to the president of the information-analytical center ‘Religion and Society’, Alexei Grishin, now the terrorists have two strategic objectives: "Goal number one is to force a war between the Christian and Muslim worlds. Firstly, because only in these conditions will they be able to continue their activities, while Christians and Muslims would not be able to agree, at least on religious grounds. And hence we expect provocative actions: bloody executions of Christians, attempts to carry out attacks on the territory of some Christian objects, the destruction of the cultural heritage of Christians. That is, provocative actions that provoke a response from Christians, which will be used for anti-Christian propaganda."
The second goal of Daesh, according to Grishin, is the preservation of their combat, organizational and propaganda capabilities. "ISIS is beginning to evacuate. Funding is necessary for all this. Therefore, the main base now is to provide further financing for extremist activities. And these active funds, which are now accumulated, including on the territory occupied by ISIS and in some current accounts, are now activated and smeared by different Muslim organizations. Therefore, we are now seeing in Europe, and unfortunately we have such a trend as well, a sharp growth of Muslim organizations has started, primarily not of Muslim religious organizations, but nominally Muslim organizations. Various types of funds, some schools, media, etc. are registered. We must set up temporary monitoring of such nominally Muslim institutions, inside which can be hidden finances, or inside some other structures of the terrorist organizations. It is clear that there will be a lot of noise about the abuse of the rights of Muslims, and it will be provoked by the terrorists, that is interesting. The human rights organizations are growing, emerging first of all. The number of Muslim human rights organizations has quadrupled in Europe over the past year and a half."
On this basis, according to Grishin, Russia should urge its Western colleagues not to blame each other in control activities of the state in relation to these organizations: "The US reports should not read later that Russia humiliates Muslims, oppresses Muslims, because it constantly checks their financial and economic activities. Nothing like this. We have put a barrier to the evacuation of ISIS and further possible metastasis of the cancer which has now arisen in Syria. We must interrupt these metastases at this stage of the evacuation, and this is an extremely important point."
