Today Khimki Moscow court will begin considering a criminal case against a migrant family from Syria, who have been living for more than two months in the transit area of Sheremetyevo Airport. The family of Syrian Kurds was preparing to travel to relatives in Samara, but was suspected of trying to cross the border illegally. The Federal Migration Service of the Moscow Region refused the migrants temporary asylum in Russia and refused to assign them refugee status.
A migration expert, Dmitry Korchinsky, said that migrants themselves should be interested in carrying out the migration requirements. That is, the Russian financial institutions, the commercial ones, are ready to consider migrants as their potential clients. But there are ossified structures such as the security services of banks, which are against migrants in terms of considering them as potential customers. What is fundamentally wrong, because according to our statistics the amount of delay in payment at times is lower than in a number of commercial banks, even in those that are involved in the provision of massive loans? Therefore, when the banks will know that they have an effective tool for testing migrants, they will probably be the first to call for migrants to get not only work and seek employment in the enterprises of the Russian Federation, but also make them full-fledged subjects of credit, purchase of vehicles, and so on. Probably everyone is interested in this. But the large financial institutions have no tools for checking"
