Pataraya and Chernov: "Thanks to our head coach for such a complex program"

At the First European Games in Baku, Russian artistes Georgy Pataraya and Marina Chernova won the gold medal in the mixed doubles at the end of combined acrobatics, gaining 89.310 points.

"Thanks very much to everyone who supported us, especially our coaches, to everyone who brought us up, as well as our parents. The emotions were high.We have shown our work that we can do, still we can do much more. So far we do not relax. We have not yet had an opportunity to relax. There are still days of competition, and we will show our best in the next few days, "  Georgiy Pataraya told to the journalist.

Marina Chernova commented on the remark about the fact that the program of the Russian pair is considered one of the most difficult in the world: "We have quite a long road to go and a long training. And the fact that we have done so well is due to our coaches. They have taught us this. It means there is such a school in Russia. The Russian school is very strong, especially in sports acrobatics. "

"We have to say, thanks to our head coach, because it's old school, old elements. And the title is immediately obvious," Giorgi Pataraya said.
