RINF: "The US prepares for war against Russia"

The UK independent news agency RINF writes that the US is preparing for a war with Russia. According to Deutsche Wirtschafts Nachrichten (German economic news), US President Barack Obama demands the active deployment of the Bundeswehr [Germany’s Armed Forces] to NATO's eastern borders in Poland and the Baltic States, which is a direct violation of what Russian leader Mikhail Gorbachev agreed to when he ended the Soviet Union, when the US administration announced that NATO would ‘not move one inch to the east.’ NATO is surrounding Russia, doing this supposedly for defensive purposes, and not as part of an offensive operation. The US media do not cease to write about the fact that Moscow is a threat to the eastern NATO members, which is why an extension of the alliance’s  contingent is necessary. In fact, NATO expanded to Russia's western borders long ago.

So Obama continues the aggressive policy against the Kremlin in addition to the economic sanctions that were imposed on Russia after the ‘forcible’ annexation of Crimea. However, Western public opinion polls conducted both before and after the peninsula joined the Russian Federation showed that more than 90% of the population were in favor of reunification with Russia. In fact, the actions of the US side are not only a return to the Cold War, this is capacity-building for a possible invasion of the territory of the Russian Federation, although, of course, no Western publication writes about this explicitly.

In fact, the aggressive actions of the West threaten Russia's national interests, and this is a very alarming signal. We are talking about western dictatorship, not a dictatorship that comes outside from Moscow. It is obvious that the plan of the American leadership is to gain control over the East. Western society needs to start taking measures to protect themselves from the leaders of their own countries, who spend enormous financial resources on arms.

However, the key issues are not specified in the Western media; they are ignored by it. Instead, anti-Russian propaganda is booming, distracting the population from the most important international problems. It is urgent to take measures to stop the western aggression, otherwise there is a chance that the cold war will turn into a ‘hot’ one.

The international publication Middle East Online writes that foreign banks can now easily collaborate with Iran. US Secretary of State John Kerry announced on Friday that the concerns of the Asian and European banks about doing business with Iran are exaggerated, and the possibility of being sanctioned is minimal. These steps toward Tehran were taken aggressively by the critics of the current US presidential administration. In turn, the leadership of the Islamic Republic welcomed the American decision regarding the further lifting of the sanctions.

Such a declaration would allow Iran to continue its return to the international market. In addition, the United States will purchase 32 tons of heavy water from Iran, to help the fulfillment of the agreement on the nuclear deal reached the last year. However, the US sanctions against Iran are still in force. Despite this, Obama's Republican opponents oppose any concessions to the Iranian side, as the strengthening of the state’s  economy could result in a weakening of the Western economy. However, as long as the US presidential administration is represented by the Democratic Party, the ties with Iran will be maintained.
