Turetsky Choir performed at the Heydar Aliyev Center

On October 10, famous Russian Turetsky Choir performed on the stage of the Heydar Aliyev Center. Mehriban Aliyeva was among those present at the sold-out concert.

The Choir performed most famous compositions from its repertoire.

Debut of the Turetsky Choir, which includes performers with unique voice, wide vocal abilities, acting skills and unusual charisma, took place in 1990. Creator and artistic director of this group is Mikhail Turetsky, People’s Artist of Russia. Repertoire of collective is extremely huge. It performs in various genres - from world classics to rock, from pop to opera, from jazz to folk songs.

Its repertoire includes composition in more than 10 languages. The Turetsky Choir performed over 6 thousand times, during its tours it covered the distance of 4.5 million kilometers.

The Turetsky Choir, which performes hits in various languages, surprised Azerbaijani viewers, singing Muslim Magomayev’s famous song titeled "Azerbaijan" in the country's native language.

After the concert, Mehriban Aliyeva met with the Turetsky Choir members and took a commemorative photo.
