XPAT NATION: "West-Iran cooperation to become the beginning of a successful struggle against ISIS"

The independent US information resource LewRockwell.com wrote that Russian and Iranian independence is a threat to US unilateralism. A former White House official, Dr. Paul Craig Roberts, said that America cannot accept the existence of states that have their own strong and independent political course. According to Mr. Craig, the US has gone too far in distributing its hegemony, and with an idea that Washington is creating world history and policy, and that any country not in the American sphere of influence and that doesn't satisfy US requirements automatically becomes an enemy of the state. In addition, the US has gone too far in the financing its military-industrial complex: $1 trillion, which is the taxpayers' money and public funds for the financing of military programs. Though at the same time, America is going through tough times, many people have lost their houses, cannot find work and have no money to pay for a basic medical insurance.

According to the former official, rather than to fight with other powerful states such as Russia and Iran, the United States should meet their own internal problems. It makes no sense to declare Russia an enemy №1, when a single enemy, which currently threatens to the USA, is poverty and discontent of the Americans by the national policy. Why does the United States make enemies  from other countries? The fact is that the White House can not tell its citizens: "We will fight with Iran, because they do not do what we want." Instead, the officials say: "Beware, the Iranians are going to build a nuclear weapon. We have to stop them. "

There are two reasons why the United States has recently switched to the active promotion of the threat from the Russian side, and not, for example, from Iraq, Afghanistan or the Islamic State. The first is that many Americans still perceive Russia as a country where communism flourishes, and the biggest part of the budget  is allocated to the military programs. That is why Washington is actively convincing the American citizens that Russia is "an existential threat to the United States" that is threatening the very existence of the state. That is why the United States is using its influence to impose sanctions on Russia as they once did with Iran. For this reason, a pressure is exerted on the EU so the Europeans should cease all the economic and strategic relations with the Kremlin.

The second reason of the US being so negatively opposed to Russia is the need to maintain a so-called one-sided policy. Moscow has repeatedly proved that it can compete with Washington at a global scale, and this could prevent the American foreign policy triumphant march around the world. This, in turn, makes Washington apply retaliatory actions, even by means of spreading of  unconfirmed information and propaganda in the western media. However, it should be understood that sooner or later the focus of the US policy should be shifted towards the internal problems, otherwise the country will face an irreversible catastrophe that will be caused by an unreasonable desire for world domination.

The independent information resource XPAT NATION, specializing in the geopolitical situation in the world, wrote about whether the Iranian nuclear deal will become a threat to ISIS. On July 14th 2015 Iran and the 'Six' negotiators signed an agreement that led to a wave of criticism worldwide. Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu called the agreement "the biggest mistake in world politics." And many critics of Iran in the US Congress accused Obama of inconsistency and loyalty to the Islamic Republic of Iran. However, it is unwise to consider the agreement only in terms of the threat that Iran poses to Israel or the United States. EU High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy, Federica Mogherini, for example, believes that the agreement with Iran will be a threat to ISIS.

It is possible that cooperation between the West and Iran can become the beginning of a joint and successful struggle against Islamic State. The fact is that the ideology of ISIS is based on the belief that the Islamic world must unite against the West, but in the case of Iran it cooperates with the US and Europe, this will become the start of the long road towards destabilizing the terrorist organization. Iran has already proved its readiness to cooperate with the Western countries on terms that are beneficial for Iran first of all. If such cooperation will continue after the signing of the agreement in respect of ISIS, then it is likely that soon the situation in the Middle East will be stabilized.
