The US independent publication Zero Hedge wrote about the reasons for the anti-Russian campaign of the Western media. It's been almost a week since Russia began to actively participate in resolving the Syrian conflict, and the West, in turn, also did not lose time in vain. A sizeable propaganda machine is in the middle of a media war against Moscow, which aims to rewrite the history of the 4-year-old Syrian crisis. Not being able to show the same results as Russia in the fight against international terrorism, the US is using its well-known and highly effective weapon: distortion of the facts. That is why information is featured in many American publications that Russia "carries out strikes on the civilian population of Syria, threatening further instability of the region." Similar stories are supported by the statements of top officials in Washington that are based on the data from the CIA and openly declare that "the efforts of Moscow are deliberately directed against the US-backed Syrian opposition."
However, the truth is that the same high-ranking officials, who possess the data on the location of the terrorist groups, do not provide any information to Russia, fearing the success of its longtime rival in a matter in which America has not achieved visible results in a year of active struggle. Perhaps the Western media is preparing the US population for a possible direct confrontation with Moscow by these means. There are reports that Russia allegedly violated Turkish airspace, and this is an action against a NATO member state, and Ankara also benefits in this situation, as well as Washington, as without the support of the United States, the parliamentary elections in Turkey are unlikely to bring the desired result to the acting President. Despite the statement of the Russian leadership that the military aircraft violated the airspace of the Republic of Turkey by mistake, NATO is not satisfied with such an option.
The Syrian crisis is compared widely to the war in Afghanistan, Russia is accused of invading the territory of another state. The information that Moscow defends the sovereignty of the state, torn by internal conflict and constant terrorist attacks, is not found anywhere in the media. In addition, the only country that continues to invade other countries under various pretexts is America, pursuing its own goals. The situation in the Middle East is extremely dangerous, but Russia has a chance to resolve the situation.
The international publication 'Middle East Online', covering developments in the Middle East, wrote that the deal on Iran's nuclear program will provide an impetus to the development of the region. The IMF said on Tuesday that the lifting of sanctions subsequent to the signing of an agreement on the Iranian nuclear program will increase the export of oil, and this, in turn, will cause economic growth in the Middle East.
Despite the worsening financial situation in the region over the last six months, related primarily to the military conflicts in Yemen and Libya, the prospects for 2016 are optimistic. A cancellation of the sanctions against Iran will be the prospect of improving the situation for oil-exporting countries, such as Iraq, Yemen, Libya and Algeria. This, in turn, will contribute to the gradual recovery of the economy suffered because of the military intervention.
Overall, the economic growth in the region will be from 7 to 11%, which can significantly stabilize the Middle East region. If Iran fails to achieve the lifting of sanctions in the near future, then the growth will start in the first quarter of next year, it will probably be at a whole new level at the end of next year. However, America is in no hurry to return to Iran ‘the keys to the region’, as this would likely lead to the fact that the influence of the USA in the Middle East would gradually decrease and in a year would come to zero. Most likely, the US administration will find every reason to postpone the abolition of anti-Iranian sanctions for a longer period.
