The Drama Train with actors of stage and screen will have a tour in Russian towns. Natalya Krachkovskaya, Zinaida Kirienko, Anatoly Nemov, Alexander Negreba, Yuri Nazarov, and other famous actors will take part in the project. Concerts are devoted to memorable dates – anniversaries of great Russian classics.
Denis Kiris, chairman of the Independent Union of Actors of Stage and Screen, the head of the project, thinks that “it is a way of reviving traditions, cultural and spiritual values in small towns of Russia. We started our project two years ago. When Krachkovskaya came to stage and spoke how she filmed in Gaidai’s comedies; when Zinaida Kireenko sang for 90 minutes our Russian songs, popular and favorite, people cried. I stood backstage and I tears dropped from my eyes.”
“We would be happy to visit the North Caucasus Federal District,” Kiris told Vestnik Kavkaza. “If heads of the regions express their will, we are ready to respond and come. I think it will be very important and positive at the stage. We started the project in the Perm Krai. The Legislative Assembly of the Perm Krai helped us very much. A lot depends on the administrative resource. If heads of the regions find it necessary, we are ready to come, to respond. Of course we would be happy to visit the Caucasus because we have such experience. We together with Anatoly Kuznetsov who is famous for his role of Sukhov in White Sun of the Desert, People’s Artist visited the Stavropol Krai, took part in opening of the center for drug addicts. We visited Dombai. Anatoly Borisovich sang his famous song “Vashe blagorodie” (Your Nobleness). So, we have experience in visiting the NCFD.”
According to Kris, “today policy directed at positive, at development of culture and dialogue is being provided. Unfortunately, we knew not very much about each other. I am a cultural worker, a TV worker, but I don’t know the culture of the Caucasus good enough. We lack this. I am sure that residents of the NCFD lack direct communication with Russian actors who are well-known for them; people remember them and I think would be happy to meet them in the format of an open concert. When we come, we show a compilation from movies, and then an actor comes to stage. For example, we show a compilation from Gaidai’s comedies and Natalya Krachkovskaya comes to stage; she sets the pace; then other actors perform. We show compilations for people recall these actors.
We also demonstrate cartoons for children watch our Russian cartoons; that’s how we promote our Russian culture. The North Caucasus region is seven constituents of the Russian Federation; it is integrated whole. We want very much to visit it and tell other people how wonderful it is and that they should go there and build the bridge, the contact.”
