The 4th Moscow International Exhibition "Art Dolls" took place at Gostiny Dvor, and featured dolls from around the world, including the USA, Germany, France, Italy, Japan, Azerbaijan, Israel and other countries. This year the exhibition is called "From Clothes To Fashion". The authors participating in the exhibition tried to show the history of fashion and the way of costume from protective device to fashion as a way of self-expression using their dolls.

"Artists from around the world have brought their new collections - from almost all the countries of Europe, the U.S., Japan , there is a very large and representative delegation from Azerbaijan, there is a large delegation and very interesting exposition from Estonia, from the other Baltic republics”, the curator of the exhibition Olga Lahina said. “At one site we present the works by artists from 26 countries. You cannot see such a representative exhibition anywhere else – only in Moscow. Here there are all the best dolls from the past and dolls by the best contemporary artists. Our exhibition is not only the largest in the world - it is the most representative and shows all the typology of dolls: there are dolls from theater, cartoons, antique dolls, works by contemporary artists, museum exhibits".

"It makes us dizzy. We look at these luxurious podiums, gallery exhibitions, and we get really enjoying”, Doctor of Arts Lala Kyazimova said. “How many talented people there are in the world! They give their talent and this joy all around; they give them everyone who comes and looks. We are happy that our gallery is presented here, there are a lot of interested people, and a lot of people take picture of our works. We have very good artists. Of course, we could not present all the works here, but we brought here to Moscow works by most of the most famous and well-known artists".

"Dolls in my life in the last five years have been everything. This is a hobby that grew into my favorite work which is the only one in my life”, artist Victoria Chichinadze said to a VKcorrespondent. “And not only in my life - the life of my whole family, because my husband is my right hand, and we do everything together with him. So maybe in my life is just that good and happy occasion when a hobby becomes work, and from my work I get the greatest pleasure".
