Just before the Day of the Foundation of the Turkish Republic, the extraordinary and plenipotentiary ambassador of Turkey to Estonia, Aishenur Alpaslan, spoke about relations between Turkey and Estonia. She stated that the countries have links in the spheres of politics, economics and culture. The ambassador said that she was glad to discover many positive results of the work of the Azeri community in Tallin. it was recently decided to establish an Azerbaijani embassy in Estonia.
Throughout October Tallin held various events to celebrate the 87th anniversary of the Turkish Republic. The highlight of all the performances was a unique concert by Estonian and Turkish musicians.
