Ingushetia presented a number of construction, industry and tourism development projects to the 10th International Investment Forum in Sochi and managed to draw billions of rubles worth of investments. The “Gruppa Akropol” company signed a contract on construction of two ski resorts in the Jeiran district of the republic, promising to invest more than 27 billion rubles. Another company took up a contract on Wi-Fi Internet development.
Ingushetia signed up to nine contracts during the Forum, some of them concerning various industrial plant constructions. One contract was made with an Italian company, another two with Vneshtorgbank and Sberbank, granting the republic a long-term investment program. Sberbank also launched a program of purpose loans for the general population, to give people an opportunity to improve their quality of life. In turn, these loans are expected to boost demand for apartments, thus stimulating the construction sector. In addition, all Ingush towns will finally be equipped with ATMs by the end of this year. The Ingush government has worked out a program to facilitate investments. A special working group was created to supervise the implementation of the program. Bureaucrats from different branches of government will become members of this group, so investors won’t have to deal with various administrative bodies, they will be able to resolve all issues directly with this group.
Ingush businessmen also received new contracts on the Sochi Forum, which is, according to Yunus-Bek Yevkurov, a sign of stability in the republic and will increase the tax income of the Ingush budget.
