New projects
The republic of Chechnya is planning to organize processing oil gas and invest in this project about 3, 5 billion rubles. According to the Industry Minister of the Republic of Chechnya Olguzur Abdulkarimov, the advantage of the project is high recoupment and benefit for environment. “Next to the deposit in Khayan-Kort a plant of capacity of 250 million cubic meters of gas will be built. The same kind of plant is planned to be built in Braguny”, the head of the ministry said. The region needs 2, 5 billion of cubic meters a year and buys one cubic meter of gas for 3 thousand rubles. Processing of oil gas will cover the fourth part of the needed amount and give other components – gasoline and gas condensate.
Oil industry
Registration of the future petroleum refinery is about to finish. The project of a plant with all required qualities is being developed, the director of the Grozneftegaz Musa Eskerkhanov said. According to him, the plant will be important for the whole North Caucasus Federal District that is why the last achievements of science and techniques should be used while constructing.
Economical grow
In the first half of this year amount of the regional goods is 13,5 billion rubles and increased 18,9% compared to the same period of the last year, the deputy Economy minister of the republic of Chechnya Uvais Saltygov reported. The processing activities increased the most and is 39,6 % now. Total quantum of agricultural output is 3128,9 million rubles. The trade increased 46,5%. The level unemployment became twice less, but still it is the highest in the country.
Investment
The government of Chechnya has some projects for the businessmen from the United Arab Emirates. Now they need to finish investment projects and discuss the ways of the realization of the reached agreements with the government and businessmen of the OAE.
Taxes grow
Since February 2009 taxes for public services have grown three times. But at the same time the people discharge the indebtedness and pay for public services more regularly.
Internet technologies
United portal of state and municipal services is planned to be created in the Republic of Chechnya. The republican center of information technologies has already linked up with 23 state services. All departments of state and municipal power are planned to be connected. The system will facilitate the life of the people, it will give an opportunity to obtain a passport or pension.
High subsidized Chechnya
The Federal Chamber of Accounts reports, that several North Caucasus republics still badly depend on the federal budget. After the checking, it turned out that the level of dependence on the federal budget does not decrease and is about 90% for Chechnya and Ingushetia.
Help for farmers
By the end of 2010 “Rosagrolising” will provide 145 agricultural machines for Chechnya. The sum of supply is more 330 million rubles.
“Spetstroi” is in debt
“Spetstroi” did not pay 7 million rubles to the budget of Chechnya. Proceedings against the company were instituted according part 1 article 199 of the Russian Criminal Code.
Business idea
The first Business club was opened in Chechnya. The idea was brought by the small-scale business. The main tasks are integration of knowledge, experience and skills for business, developing of international contacts, investment in economics of Chechnya, creating the basis for dialogue between power and business.
