Stavropol Territory to become the center of the automobile industry of the North Caucasus The creation in Stavropol Territory of the “Intrall” technology park has been discussed by the regional government and the head of the “Intrall” consortium, Anatoly Leyrih.
According to the head of the region, the "Intrall" project is consistent with the strategy of development of the province until 2020, the vector of which is aimed at modernizing the economy and ensuring its sustainable development through the creation and implementation of new technologies and industries, as well as new jobs in all industries.
The Head of Stavropol has talked about the measures taken by the regional authorities to attract investment. A management company for investment and innovation development has been established. At the moment it is working to create a “single window”, which will allow administrative barriers for the projects to be reduced. An informational and analytical center has also been created in order to facilitate finding international business partners and expanding the target markets.
According to Anatoly Leyrih, the project has no analogues in Russia and may become the hallmark of Stavropol. Work on the project is being carried according to plan, however there are certain issues that require joint decisions with the local administration. These issues concern providing state guarantees for loans, the financing of techno-parks in the immediate vicinity of the automobile zone and the creation of a full-fledged social infrastructure. The partners for the future production are a number of large foreign enterprises, including those from Poland, where the headquarters of the car company were previously located.
By the 1st of December, the representatives of the consortium, together with the heads of ministries and agencies, will prepare the calculations for considering the project.

The total project area of the technology park "Intrall" will be no less than 300 hectares. The total amount of investment in the project will amount to 10.5 billion rubles. The investor is willing to invest 3.15 billion rubles or 30% of the project cost. As a result, a car plant with a capacity of 60 thousand cars per year and annual sales of 40 billion rubles will be built in Stavropol Territory in 3 years. The project will pay off in 6 years. The share of products of this company in the Russian market will be at least 10%, while the share of exports to the EU market will amount to at least 40%.
