'Domodedovo' echoes from Nazran

'Domodedovo' echoes from Nazran
The horrific act of terror that occurred in 'Domodedovo' international airport caused a great response among the residents of Ingushetia, as they themselves know only too well what terrorism can be like. The Nazran public agrees that all healthy forces within our country should unite in order to stop this evil from keeping ordinary people in fear. The speaker of the Ingush parliament, Makhmud Sakalov, said that nothing could possibly justify the actions of the criminals who committed this inhumane act of violence. The deputy head of the Ingush government pointed out that this act of terror demonstrates how real the threat to national security is and urged for it to be dealt with as quickly as possible. The supreme mufti of Ingushetia stressed that Islam is a peaceful religion that treasures human life above all. Public figures of Ingushetia called the tactics of terrorists who target the civilian population only foul and inhumane. They also reminded people that Ingushetia has been on the front-line of the global war with terrorism for a long time, so the Ingush people know the atrocities of terrorism only too well. And the forces which try to make acts of terror look like a result of religious and ethnic differences in order to win the support of the masses are themselves close allies of the terrorists. Ingush politicians urged everybody to oppose these dark forces and to remember that the criminals have no ethnicity or faith. The Ingush Council of Veterans declared that the main goal of the terrorists is to destroy the liberty and values of the people, so the 'Domodedovo' act of terror was aimed at the Russian people as a whole. Students in Ingushetia also joined the proclamation urging all people of the Russian Federation to unite in the face of the terrorist threat.
