The uncertainty of the ceasefire's future is highlighted by an incident that happened in June near the border between Georgia and South Ossetia.
In June resident of the Onsky District of Georgia decided to celebrate the day of Sadzhvareoba in St. George's Chapel. For centuries Georgians and Ossetians together celebrated the holiday there. After the 2008 war common worship was abandoned, still both Georgians and Ossetians visited the church easily.
This June when Georgians decided to visit the place of worship they were detained by military men, who turned out to be Russian soldiers.
Luckily, the intruders were not punished or imprisoned but just expelled from the South Ossetia's territory, even though Georgia and South Ossetia have no agreement on captives.
