Israel-Turkey: is warmth approaching?

VK was told by an informed source that soon relations between Israel and Turkey will become warmer. According to the source, the special aide of the Prime Minister of Israel, Binyamin Netanyahu, has managed to achieve a certain understanding between the foreign ministry of Turkey on the form and means of apologies, which Israel is ready to give for the incident aboard the Mavi-Marmara ship in 2010.

It is too early to speak about certain things, but contacts with representatives of the Turkish government continue and bring results. For example, the Turkish Prime Minister Erdogan and other prominent Turkish politicians refrained from making anti-Israeli statements. Contacts between Israel and representatives of the Turkish opposition and coalition continue. However, nothing can be the same as it was.

One more mark of a coming warmth is the visit to Israel by a big delegation of Turkish journalists on November 17th. Of course, such visits were not rare some time ago, and nobody paid attention to it. However, after the start of the Israeli-Turkish conflict many things have changed.

Reports say that, on the first day of their visit, the guests from Ankara visited the Jerusalem hospital Adacha Ain-Karem and met their compatriots working there - Turkish scientists and doctors from Turkey. We often hear words that politics is politics, but relations between people remain the same. Isn't it time for politicians to understand these words too?
