On January 14, the election program of Russia's Communist Party presidential candidate will be published, and a week later the communists will hold a rally in Moscow, and on February 4th they will participate in another protest demonstration for fair elections.
Gennady Zyuganov stated about it at a press conference in Moscow. He also commented on important political, economic and social issues.
On the world financing crisis
The second wave of the crisis reached the United States and covered Europe. The situation is getting worse. Neither financial patches of Obama nor France’s efforts to save Greece led to desired results. The situation is dangerous. As for aggressive forces of financing globalists, they are in search of military adventures and violence. For 150 years of capitalism development there have been 12 world economic crises. Two last were ended by world wars, and our country was in the center of them. The new crisis has shown that military adventures in Northern Africa and other regions are increasing. I wish it didn’t move to Syria and Iran.
On the USSR collapse and the current economic policy
Last year we summed up results of the so-called new policy of reforms and reorganizations, which led to a full collapse of the country in all spheres. The country has lost 70,000 industrial facilities, 15 million people, a half of the budget is being formed by oil and gas export, and if oil price is lower than $80 per barrel, the budget developed by United Russia for next three years will fail.
New social-economic policy is needed. The Soviet potential is over. Capital outflows from the country. We were said everything is alright and the environment is favorable, but in reality for three years of the crisis $300 billion of capital flew from the country. 1.25 million skilled specialists left Russia.
On results of the political year
Our party proposed a real program of overcoming the crisis and got majority of votes in all cities. The State Duma is illegal from moral and political point of view. Without putting in order current laws on elections and fair forming of commissions for organization of elections the presidential elections cannot be held. All election commissions should be formed on party basis.
On forecasts for 2012
It will be a crucial year. Changing of power will take place in Russia, the USA and France. Political campaign will be held in leading countries, and it will influence the situation inside the countries and in the world in general. Left attitudes will strengthen. Liberal revanche is another threat for the country.
A new wave of the crisis has reached the Russian Federation. Increase of instability is inevitable. The WTO program deprives our country of an opportunity to invest into agriculture, support science and education.
