U.S. will not invest in Ukraine

Kiev has responded to the Moscow Basmanny Court’s order to arrest Ukrainian Interior Minister, Arsen Avakov, and the head of the Dnipropetrovsk Oblast, Igor Kolomoysky, for using forbidden means and methods of war in the south-east of the country. The Main Investigative Directorate of the Ukrainian Interior Ministry said that some Russian politicians and businessmen were suspected of financing and organizing armed formations. Russian Ambassador to Ukraine Mikhail Zurabov received a note, stating that Vladimir Zhirinovsky, Gennady Zyuganov, Sergey Mironov, Sergey Shoygu and Constantine Malofeyev were summoned for questioning. They are suspected of heading illegal armed formations, financing them, supplying them with weapons, ammunition, explosives and combat vehicles.

Ukrainian political analyst Rostislav Ishchenko is skeptical about the actions of the Kiev authorities: “We can blame Russia for fighting in Donbass and cannot beat the Ukrainian army that lacks ammunition. I just cannot understand how can it be advancing without ammunition. Terrorists, separatists and Russian mercenaries full of ammunition would have killed all the Ukrainian troops.”

According to Ishchenko, Kiev does not control other oblasts of the south-east. “They are controlled by [oligarch and Governor of the Dnipropetrovsk Oblast Igor] Kolomoysky. There is no need to look farther. One should open the Facebook page of Boris Filatov, who is a deputy of Kolomoysky. He writes absolutely honestly that they are not under Kiev control, they do not care about the law and Constitution, they make their own decisions.

Western oblasts are under the control of Svoboda, which is less clarion but has quietly formed its separate, personal dominion and controls it. Ukrainian mass media say nothing about it. By the way, the Russians say nothing about it either, because all attention is paid to Donbass. The Kiev government is not responsible even for Kiev's sewers. It just has no resources for that. So discussions of global problems with it is pointless, investment of money in it is pointless.

One of the versions says that Kiev is provoking Russia to deploy troops in the civil war in Ukraine, encouraged by the U.S. However, in Ishchenko’s opinion: “If forces enter, they will stop at the districts of the western border in a week. The Ukrainian army can only defend in theory. Since March, the main allies of the Ukrainian state have been trying to start a war. It is clear that the allies do not plan the long-term existence of what they plan to burn. Now, after all the failed provocations, there is only one option, an attack on Crimea. It is a logical move, because the annexation of Crimea by Russia has neither been recognized by Ukraine nor by the international community. Thus, an attack on Crimea will be motivated as the return of an occupied territory. Kiev would claim: “We are not waging a war. We are taking our territory back.” The start of combat actions with Russia may be provoked in such a way because Russia considers Crimea its territory.”

Ishchenko considers the Ukrainian authorities to be pawns that have no control over the situation. “The pawns on the chessboard can be exchanged for other pawns. Ukraine is under U.S. control. It decides what and how the Ukrainian government should deal with it. Its actions are aimed at maximizing the political, economic, financial and military losses of Russia by burning Ukraine. It is absolutely clear that the U.S. will not invest in the restoration of Donbass, Kharkiv, Odessa, Kiev, the entire Ukrainian economy that does not exist today. 40 million need food, even if only 30 million of them are left after the liberal administration of the Kiev government. Russia will invest money in Ukraine for objective reasons, it does not want a Somalia on its borders.
