The Berlin Office of the Azerbaijan Student Network (ASN) has organized a pantomime with flash mob elements on one of the central squares of Hamburg (Germany) within the framework of the “Remember about Khojaly” campaign.
Over 50 ASN members and notable mime Andreas Ebbert-Scholl presented a 10-minute performance with music, reflecting the emotions of people who lived through the tragic events of Khojaly: despair, the deaths of innocent people, a baby’s crying. Gathering at the square, watching the pantomime, people were deeply touched by the performance.
ASN members were handing out brochures about the tragedy and candles to commemorate the victims and answering the questions of the public. ASN students from Berlin, Hamburg, Gottingen, Bremen, Flensburg and Siegen took part in the performance.
Before the flash mob, students from all over Germany stayed at the same hostel, presented materials on the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict and the Khojaly tragedy and attended discussions on “Stumbling blocks in the settlement of the Karabakh conflict” organized by the ASN.
