Counter Punch: "The enemy is not Russia or Putin"

Independent American edition Counter Punch today published an article titled "The enemy is not Putin, and Russia." Just over a year has passed since the events in Ukraine, which led to the aggravation of relations between Russia and the West. But what really happened and who is to blame for the fact that in addition to a string of recriminations and accusations from Europe and the United States does anything can resolve the crisis?

The first is to draw attention to the fact that nothing would have happened if the US government had not interfered in the politics of other countries. Senator John McCain, for example,  who does not stop looking for the "new" Vietnam, has repeatedly traveled to Ukraine  personally  to urge the protesters to the change of power in the country. What would happen if Russian politicians had traveled to Mexico and called for the anti-American movement, or the overthrow of the elected president?

In addition, there is an open recognition of the US State Department, which "invested" $ 5 million to Ukraine to provide to it  a "democratic future". So who is behind the destabilization of the situation in Europe?

The history of Ukraine is inseparably linked with the history of Russia, and all of the above steps of  the US government led to the fact that relations between the two neighboring countries have given a crack, which played into the hands of the US in their attempt to "contain" foreign influence in Russia.

Western way speculation of  the name of Vladimir Putin, especially the recent statements by the Minister of Defence of the United Kingdom, who said that Putin is the same  a threat to the West as the Islamic State and t is ludicrous, because if you really understand what is happening, rather than follow the call of information warfare, it becomes clear who is behind the escalation of conflicts in Europe and in the East. In addition, the fact that a sufficiently high level politicians can afford such statements says that along with political, Europe and the United States are experiencing intellectual collapse. Afghanistan, Iraq and Libya in ruins, and the West still blames Russia.

Crisis and conflict in Ukraine remind us that we live in a world, where the rights and interests of the West are the only legitimate thing. Middle East, Ukraine, what country should map the carnage and barbarism next?

Only Russia and Vladimir Putin decided to confront the US empire, although it is not easy, given that the US is the most powerful military power with more than 1,000 military bases around the world. It is the only country in the world that openly opposed the hypocrisy, double standards and lack of respect for other countries. Concerted efforts to expand NATO and the increasingly militant Europe have nothing to do with democracy, and everything that happens is more like the imperialistic ambitions under the guise of the same democracy.

The escalation of the conflict in eastern Ukraine does not benefit anyone, least of all Russia. But at stake is a  principle to prove that the West has no right to dictate its terms to the world, spreading chaos and war instead of peace and the rule of international law.

Turkish edition Anadolu Agency reported today about Turkey's allies in the economic sector in an article titled "Turkey, Azerbaijan and Georgia want to expand cooperation" The level of trade between Turkey and neighboring countries is high enough, but the Minister of Economy of the Republic of Turkey states that  joint effort  must be taken to optimize trade volumes. This requires  unified economic base, as well as mutual support  of three partner countries, not only in trade but also in terms of foreign policy cooperation.

Geopolitical partnership can bring their results and strength the position of Turkey, Azerbaijan and Georgia in the sector of the world economy and help them to take their rightful place among the leading suppliers and manufacturers. Three countries already have plans for joint forums, conferences and joint economic projects. The ministers of the three countries are willing to encourage the expansion of cooperation with its neighbors  partners. 

 

"The US is quite confused with Iran," writes American magazine Business Insider. Amid growing tensions within the country the White House is trying to avoid constitutional changes that would give the president the right to decide, subject to the consent of two-thirds of the Senate. Many congressmen advocate to strengthen sanctions against Iran, but then they lose the support of one of the few countries in the Middle East, which still leads diplomatic dialogue with the United States.

But do not think that Iran watches in silence, the way its fate is decided. The government of Iran continues to insist that its nuclear program should remain in the office of the country where it is carried out, and nothing else. In addition, Iran has powerful allies, as well as quite a significant economic potential to counter the dominance of the West foreign policy.
