National Interest: " To give up in the Ukrainian questions means to confirm the failure of foreign policy"

By Vestnik Kavkaza

The American edition of The National Interest, asked today the question of whether the Ukrainian conflict will provoke hostilities between the US and Russia. The fact that the active intervention of Western forces in the situation in Ukraine, military assistance and training of Ukrainian soldiers by the US and Canadian military could provoke a clash of the two largest nuclear powers in the world. Because for  Russia it will not be easy to look at  the escalation of the armed conflict  on its borders.

At present, Russia is the only country in the world that can resist the US aggression and openly declares that it will not allow Ukraine to join NATO and  to turn to the side of America. For the United States to give up in the Ukrainian questions means to confirm the failure of its foreign policy,  but at the same time, further intervention in the fate of Russia's neighbors may lead to open military confrontation between the two countries in which the United States will have little chance to win.

Currently, all parties are manage to stay within the Minsk Agreement, however, the fact that the United States does not cease to interfere in the internal politics and seek reasons for worsening relations with Russia, could lead to the fact that Moscow's patience will be over, and then the inevitable diplomatic  conflict  could escalate into war. Neither for the US nor Europe, this development will not be on hand, because even the first stage of confrontation- sanctions- led to the fact that the economic situation deteriorated on behalf of the Western countries. What will happen next is unknown, but the balance of powers in the world is changing, and it is already evident to many.

American independent publication Axes of Logics writes today that Washington has called on world leaders to think carefully before deciding whether to attend commemorative events in Russia, to commemorate the 70th anniversary of the victory in World War II. States Department of the States believes that because of the events in Ukraine this memorable date should not be celebrated . However, the State Department seems to have forgotten that if not  the help of the USSR as a union state, then who knows with what would have ended the Second World War. Also, do not forget about the 50 million  of the Soviet people, who gave their lives so that fascism was defeated.

If we follow the logic of Washington, you can also call the world's States to consider before they will gather to commemorate the victims of 11 September. Even by the standards of Western analysts today the US policy toward Russia goes beyond all possible diplomatic framework that is no good for the strengthening of relations between the two powerful states.

Another American newspaper The Washington Times reported today that Iranian deal can be a great investment. Agreement on the Iranian nuclear program may provide an opportunity for lobbying of funding terror in the Middle East. The fact that Western countries are still concerned about the mythical nuclear weapons, which Iran has, and fear that the lifting of sanctions will allow the Republic to use foreign capital, without limitation, that in turn will lead to an aggravation of radicalization in the Middle East.

America is losing its position and credibility in Tehran, especially amid growing partnership potential of Russia and Iran. It turns out that countries can cooperate with each other and without the mediation of the United States. That is why the West is by all means preventing the signing of the nuclear deal and find a reason for the escalation of the armed conflict, which will be on hand largest arms manufacturer in the United States, represented in the various echelons of American power.
