In Sevastopol and in the whole of Crimea there are more than two thousand monuments of the Great Patriotic War. There is perhaps no single type of troops who were not immortalized in monuments and memorials. In the hero-city of Sevastopol there is a memorial to the 77th Azerbaijan Infantry Division.
