Business Insider: "European diplomats are not interested in destabilizing of Russia"

Independent American edition VOX wrote today about the worries, which  experts associated with the confrontation between Russia and Europe. During the Cold War, the world's leading powers made stakes on  future of the world. It would seem that after so many years the situation should  change, but the events of the past year show the opposite. Western attempts to isolate Russia by imposing sanctions, as well as an increase in military presence on the borders with Russia, led to  increasing of aggression in the region. In turn, Moscow has chosen the path of cultivation of the European allies, so the anti-Russian coalition did not have such a powerful influence as the West would like it to be.

Instead the rivalry being at the economic level, Europe and the United States chose the path of political confrontation, which can not but worry the analysts worldwide. In Western capitals, diplomats focused on the problems of the Middle East region, accusing Russia that it is trying to weaken or even to split the NATO, while its military power is needed to deal with an Islamic state. However, the pressure on Moscow would not help to ease tensions. On the contrary, it leads to  increase of aggression, which could escalate into a full-scale military confrontation, which is not desirable for any of the parties.

The fact is  that while the EU and US leading  anti-Russian propaganda, problems within the Western countries are neglected, which once can lead to undesirable consequences for the West. But then there will be no reason to shift the blame onto others.

Another American edition Business Insider writes that European diplomats are not interested in destabilizing of Russia. The foreign minister of the European Union said yesterday that the destabilization and isolation of Russia is  against the interests of Europe, and the sanctions can not be removed simply because Minsk agreement is not implemented in full measure. What can explain this change of mood in Europe?

The fact is  that the rapprochement between Moscow and Beijing, as well as negotiations with Turkey on  purchasing of rockets , forcing EU to think about their foreign policy. Under pressure from the United States, Europe found itself in a deadlock, as the sanctions imposed turned against the European capital and the inability to export and import with Russia is undermining already unstable market of the European Community.

Doing timid attempts to get closer to Russia after a year of isolation and accusations against the state leadership, the EU is trying to rectify the situation. However, until the final decision on the lifting of sanctions is still pending, Russia continually strengthen its position in various regions of the world, from Latin America and ending with China.

American weekly magazine Washington Free Beacon published an article today that the military pressure from the United States poses a threat to the negotiations on the nuclear program of Iran. Iran's Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei said on Wednesday that the US government is deliberately doing everything to disrupt the negotiations. Khamenei, who has the last word on all state affairs of Iran, confirmed evidence that the two US officials threaten Iran with military action if negotiations were  resumed. It is worth mentioning that the Iranian leadership has repeatedly stated that any attempt to influence the internal affairs of the state would  lead to stop of negotiations. Apparently, such a statement is favorable for the US leadership.

Iran continues to convince Western powers that the country's nuclear program is exclusively peaceful in nature, and negotiations can be continued only if  requirements of  IRI will be met. The principled position of Iran, which requires a complete lifting of the sanctions, and steadily the West, which is stating that sanctions will be lifted gradually, and this can be a reason for countries to stop negotiations.
