Azerbaijan doesn't expect breakthrough on Nagorno-Karabakh at OSCE summit in Astana.
Kazakhstan is hosting the summit of the Organisation for Security and Cooperation in Europe. Some experts expect a positive shift in the peace settlement process of the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict. However, the world shouldn't expect too much of the meeting between Ilham Aliyev and Serge Sargsyan.
Even though the parties managed to sign a treat on humanitarian issues, the question concerning the Azeri territories still remains open. Yerevan isn't striving for a settlement of the conflict, because the preferences of the international community are inclined towards Azerbaijan.
Neither Russia nor the US nor the OSCE nor Kazakhstan can play the crucial role in the settlement of the conflict between Armenia and Azerbaijan, as Armenia is satisfied with its position and doesn't want to change anything in the status quo.
