The North Caucasus delegation also met the governor of Krasnoyarsk Territory, Lev Kuznetsov, who emphasized the public role of young specialists and managers in his address. The governor said that Krasnoyarsk Territory is ready to greet young people from the North Caucasus as students, as well as in the role of young specialists.
The ball itself was organized to commemorate the 50th anniversary of the first flight of a man into space, so the ball’s setting was decorated in a space-futuristic style. Also, the Caucasian delegation managed to introduce a new ethnic flavour to the event. The head of the delegation, consultant for the interior affairs department of the NCFD, Giorgy Gurov, said that this trip was the start of a new era of close contact between the young people of the two regions. The representatives of Siberian youth from Krasnoyarsk Territory and other districts were invited to participate in forthcoming youth events in the Caucasus, including the educational summer camp @Mashuk-2011” and the “Caucasian games” festival.
