Moscow has recently hosted a conference “North Caucasus: Peculiarities of political dialogues of culture. View from Moscow”. Vladimir Pozdeyev, head of the Moscow School of the United Russia Party, has shared his opinion on the problem. “We have many people with mental disorders. Honestly, any information reaching a genotype causes different reactions. Imagine Africans living in Lyubertsy, working. The local loafers start picking on them with questions: “Black, how did you get here and who are you?” A fight starts. Who wins the brawl? Obviously, the stronger ones, workers do. Once, twice. Not only do Russian nationalistic loafers get beaten up, but also Caucasians living there get some. Why? Because do not interfere into what you are not supposed to. A wave starts: “Negros occupied Lyubertsy, soon they would occupy Moscow. A request from Saint-Petersburg arrives summoning a group to aid their friends” and so on. Nothing like that happens. The problem was solved. Minor hooliganism. These moments are diverse”, Pozdeyev says. “I have been working with psychological problems for over 40 years, studying genotypes of behavior, especially in zones with psychiatric facilities and so on. When you see these things and correlate them with reality you can say just one thing: we do not have interethnic confrontation and there are no grounds for that. We have problems with the upbringing of the growing generation”, Pozdeyev believes.
“ I am surprised by people with high-ranking positions that suddenly draw the national aspect into the situation. This person acts in such a way, that one acts in that way. It shows that the culture of interethnic relations, the political culture, needs improvement, our internal culture needs improvement. We all want the same. We want welfare in the country, we want welfare for every citizen. We want the coming decade to have no shocks and Russia to become one of the top five states of the world, taking its well-deserved place”.
