Such is the main slogan of the campaign organized by young Israeli designers Rony Andree and Michal Tamir.
The project started with Rony Andree’s making several posters with a slogan “Iranians! We will never bomb your country. We love you”. He put photos of himself, his wife and children, friends and relatives on the poster. Part of them were posted on his Facebook account and then sent to all people willing to take part in this "people’s diplomacy". Andree says that he wanted to be heard by ordinary people to the background of Iran expecting Israeli attacks.
The initiative inspired a lot of feedback in Israel and Iran. Andree admitted that he was surprised that Iranians started visiting his page, making comments and expressing understanding. He received response posters with smiling Iranians with message: “My Israeli friends, I do not hate you, I do not want war, I love peace!” Some Iranians left posts agreeing with the current policy of Israel. “Dear Israeli friends, Iranians love peace and hate war and they do not need an atomic bomb to prove it. I like your idea and struggle for peace. We have a complicated situation in Iran today, many hate the government and its lies”, says one of the posts.
There are also posts of Iranians and Israelis disagreeing with the designer. Some Iranians express hatred towards Jews and Israel, while Israelis condemn Andree for pacifism, which they call untimely and harmful for Israeli interests.
