Evgeni Semchenko, secretary of the working group of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Russian Federation, commented on an information campaign on the unified state exam, and violations in the course of the unified state examination in the Republic of Dagestan.
He said that a decision was made by the State Examination Board on the Republic of Dagestan on the cancellation of marks for identical answers in the assignments of Part C of the exam for 420 works on social science. “Those children who used cribs or got some things, reference material from Wikipedia or public sources on the Internet, zero. 140 works were cancelled in chemistry. 458 works were cancelled in biology. This is a situation where there is the political will and the desire to restore order during the exam. Currently the question arises on the release from their posts in the republic of Dagestan of 10 heads of the Department of Education, 12 directors of educational institutions, 9 specialists of education authorities of regional and municipal level”, the official said.
