In a few days, in Pyatigorsk the fourth North Caucasian Youth Forum "Mashuk-2013" will start. According to the presidential envoy in the North Caucasus Federal District Alexander Khloponin, sooner or later, "Mashuk" will be the center of the youth movement, or even the regional branch of the Russian youth movement in the North Caucasus. It is possible that in the future the forum will be an interesting place for recruitment. After all, today all companies are looking for creative and talented young people who are able to generate ideas and to offer interesting projects, and we the opportunity to do so should be given to them on the site of "Mashuk". "Even if tomorrow we achieve all the planned results in the North Caucasus, including creating 400,000 new jobs, the problems of youth will not be solved – subcultural youth projects will not develop, and in the evening the youth will have nowhere to go. And then our guys will continue to leave the district, it will still be uninteresting for them. To keep them, we need to move in this direction”, Khloponin said to “Interfax".

Meanwhile, Sergey Belokonev, head of the Federal Agency for Youth Affairs, said in an interview to VK: “The "Mashuk" forum, in which the Federal Agency is actively involved as an organizer, and with project support, is starting soon. We have been working for many months now on supporting the projects that won the 2012 competition of youth projects in the Caucasus, and this year we also plan to support about 600 of the best projects in the NCFD, and many young leaders. Literally, next month this will be done, we sum up the results, select the projects, help prepare the best projects. These are the activities, plus a number of large, interesting youth events that have been realized with our support this year: the media forum in Stavropol, the patriotic action in Stavropol, the project "IT-Start" in Chechnya, and many others, there is a program on entrepreneurship, which is implemented in a number of regions of the Caucasus: Ingushetia, Kabardino-Balkaria, Ossetia.

In Vladikavkaz, today we are working with the regional government with the support of the president, and the head of the region of North Ossetia-Alania, Mansurov. And the project on patriotic education on the base of the Rospatriot center is being implemented, so that we were able to implement youth projects aimed at patriotic education in the region.

This is what we plan to increase this year. In the capital, Pyatigorsk, together with our partners, institutions of higher education, and the administration of Stavropol Territory, we plan to organize an All-Russian sports festival in November, 100 days before the Olympic Games. So that the theme "Cheer for Russia" gets a hold among young people across the country, and in the Caucasus. We have actively approached the Olympics in order to support our athletes”.

In general, one of the main trends of the youth policy is a healthy lifestyle. Dmitry Bespolov, physical education teacher, honorary teacher of Russia, told about physical education classes in schools: “A PE class is an educational lesson, not a training one. A PE class is a lesson for everybody, a lesson in communication through the exercise, the communication between the sexes, etc.

With regard to issues of national conflict and tolerance. Generally, as a coach I can say that, as a rule, teams do not have this problem. I had teams of children, which thad children with black skin, and Spanish, Greeks, Russians, and Caucasians. There's just another interest, they focus everything on one idea, so usually these problems do not occur. If we talk about a lesson, everything will depend on the teacher. I will not go back to that again now. How do I do it? When this problem occurred, and guys from the Caucasus region and other regions started to appear, it seemed to me that there will be conflicts, especially since my kids are tense. You know, there were none. As usual, it happens sometimes between students, but it is not a national conflict. Why? Because those guys from the Caucasus, they fight well, we engaged them in boxing, i.e. they feel good, they know the language. If we talk about lessons, there is one thing that I do. If you enter my gym, then on the back wall under the basketball shield, you will see hanging the flags of all nationalities of all children who attend the school. Even a French one we have. We have a French girl. The last flag to appear was Armenian. And the biggest flag, of course, is the flag of Russia. Of course, when they are divided into teams, I do not allow to form by nationality”.
