Recently the head of Ingushetia Yunus-Bek Yevkurov made a statement against the participation of residents of the republic in the conflict in Ukraine. “However, we should support those who are fighting for their land against fascists. I hope Russia and Ukraine will make peace. I am not a political scientist or a historian, but I know that Ukraine cannot survive on its own. People who shout “All honor to Ukraine – all honor to heroes!” have sold out Ukraine,” Yevkurov thinks.
Earlier, he said that natives from Ingushetia were fighting in Ukraine either on the side of militants or on the side of the Ukrainian army.
The head of Ingushetia promised that the authorities of the republic would do their best to help refugees from Ukraine.

The matter touches on providing medical aid and psychological support, according to the organization of Ukrainian children’s vacation in the health center “Armkhi” in the mountain Dzheirakh district. According to the Ingush leadership, refugees can see natural beauty there and experience the hospitality of local residents. The head of the chief office of EMERCOM of Russia in Ingushetia, Ruslan Koloyev, thinks that an educational process could be organized in the Dzheirakh school, if necessary. The Ministry of Labor, Employment and Social Development of the republic plans to organize a vacation for 200 Ukrainian children in summer camps.
